The problem with the high schools is the elementary schools and middle schools that feed them. A high school grading system will do nothing to fix that.

What this new grading scale will do is make sure that the failure of FWCS students is greatly reduced. With these reductions will come arguments from downtown that FWCS can afford to reduce its teaching staff because the vast majority of students needing to retake classes will no longer need to do so.
