No, it's not a target with my picture in the bulls eye as Joe Silva predicted. Hey, if you can't change the test scores for five years, change the logo.
As for the "objectives", they have to put numbers on them that can be used to hold the administration accountable. Mitch Shepherd said that was going to happen, just not when.

what was the point of this and how much did it cost? How much letterhead, stationary, envelopes and other office supplies will be thrown out and replaced for this?
quite a bit. they all stepping on themselves now. is a tax increase coming? stay tuned
OK, now for a logo with four colored blocks that may look like books, and 4 letters, with 4 words and 3 spaces we paid $15k? Such a deal...
Then we have, count them, 3 basic sentences, which have been the rallying cry for how many of us for how many years, and we paid $40k for these? Can anybody spell fiscal responsibility, seriously, with a straight face?
After changing the logo, the shopping spree begins for all new paper products, stationery, checks,
rubber stamps, all the ad swag, tee shirts, gym suits, team regalia and and who knows what else. This is fiscal responsibility? Give us back the lamp, or at least shed some light on the subject.
Egad.
egad is right, cara. money falling from trees for our new FWCS. just think on how they would do with a new $5ooM? i shuder to think
The next school year the school administration and the teachers union will add 3 more 2 hour delay days for a total of 9. This translates into 4 1/2 days the kids will miss school. Is this helping academic achievement.
This training should be done on their own time not on the kids time.
Tank, you are misinformed, and, unfortunately, are not the only one. FWCS and FWEA added 3 more professional development DAYS to the teacher calendar, before and after the school year. This is therefore on teacher time, not student time. We will still have 6 2-hr delay days--a practice which, by the way, is used in many districts, public and private, in this city and many others across the U.S.
don't forget the $250k + that Robinson spent to do a study on why they needed renovations to school.
